NICOLE PEREZ | Associate
NICOLE PEREZ was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Following high school, Ms. Perez moved to Orlando, Florida, to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies at the University of Central Florida, with a minor in Criminal Justice.
Upon her return to Miami, Ms. Perez attended The University of Miami School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate degree. While in law school, Ms. Perez received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Research and Writing, was an editor and published author on the University of Miami Business Law Review, was a board member of the Hispanic Law Students Association, and was a student governor for the Student Bar Association.
Ms. Perez also spent a semester of law school as a student intern in the Children and Youth Law Clinic at the University of Miami School of Law. In the clinic, Ms. Perez represented children in foster care, former foster youth in dependency, health care, mental health, disability, independent living, education, immigration and other general civil legal matters, ensuring that they had a voice in court proceedings.
Ms. Perez was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2017, and currently practices in the areas of Family Law and Commercial Litigation. Ms. Perez is fluent in English and Spanish.
